Window Clings – Another free educational resource for local businesses and other organizations.

Post Date:07/10/2020

Education is not just for elementary, middle and high school children, it is something that impacts our lives each and every day.  It provides us with knowledge about the world around us so that we can be prepared for the different situations we face throughout our lifetime.  As we continue to adapt to the challenges of COVID-19, more resources become available to help educate us all on our role in helping to slow the spread.

The Town of Manteo is happy to provide a free new resource to local businesses and other organizations to assist them in lessening the impacts of COVID-19.  Window clings are available now that you can display on the front door or window of your business or office.  These clings welcome people to your business or organization but at the same time educate them on the requirement of face coverings in North Carolina.  In addition, the clings include all components of the 3 W’s – Wear, Wait, and Wash.  Wear a cloth covering over your nose and mouth, wait six feet apart to avoid close contact, and wash your hands and use sanitizer.  All these actions together can help to protect your families, neighbors, employees and visitors by doing their part to slow the spread of COVID-19.

During these challenging times, efforts continue to be made to support local businesses and other organizations, which are incredibly vital to our community.  The window clings are another informational tool helping to share the message on how together, we can help slow the spread of COVID-19.  Any local business or organization interested in having a window cling to display in their place of business or office can contact staff at Town Hall at (252) 473-4101, and we will be happy to make that delivery!
